Travel books for kids by me, Gil the Travelling Gecko.
Did you know that there are over 200 countries and territories which make up our planet.
My goal is to visit them all. I would like you, to come with me and explore our wonderful, exciting, and sometimes strange world.
I will be releasing a selection of new travel books for kids which are stories about a different countries. Together we can see who lives there.
We can learn a few words of the language, try the most popular foods, meet some new friends and have lots of fun.
Learning a few words and phrases in a different language is always fun. It can also be very helpful to you. My selection of travel books for kids is a great way to read a great story and learn a little at the same time.
There are nearly always some words in a new language which will ‘trip you up’. What I mean is, just because a word looks or sounds like one that you know, it can sometimes mean something very different.
I always seem to find these words and they can get me into trouble by mistake. Luckily, it mostly makes me and my friends laugh. You can discover some of them here
