On this adventure, Gil visits Dartmoor in the southwest of England to meet his friend Jojo, the otter. Jojo lives on a farm in the Dartmoor National Park, in Devonshire.
This is a place where people go to enjoy the outdoors and explore the wide open moors where ponies, cows and sheep live free. They are able to walk all over the Dartmoor Park without being stuck in a field or in a barn.
He meets a pine marten, eats scones and gets scared by grockles. He also see more stars than he has ever seen before in his life.
Gil gets to learn lots of Dartmoor words which causes some very funny moments. Although the locals speak English, it seems that most of the time, they don’t. He learns a little about bio-diversity and meets himself!
